Background: 

Dr. Elbarbary has joined Cal Poly State University as a visiting scholar and lecturer in July-2018. He received his PhD in 2010 from Mechanical Design Engineering (MDE), Helwan University in the field of control of mechanical vibrations of high speed rotating shafts by using magnetic bearing. He has graduated and obtained his master degree from Aerospace Engineering.

Areas of Interest:

Control - Renewable Energies - Mechanical Vibrations - Mechanical Design - Composite Materials.
