Student Project Lab and Outdoor Lab Access

Location: 20-118
Coordinator: Jaime Carmo

DescriptionRM118

This facility is a general purpose Project Laboratory (20-111) and is intended to support students developing projects.  A full suite of test and measurement equipment is available at all stations.   Students also use this as a common study area room when not in classes.

20-118 provides access to our department's 2500 square foot outdoor design space.  The outdoor design space provides an area where large project can be developed.   It also provides a location with access to the sun (such as solar energy projects).  This outdoor maker space has work benches and access to hand and power tools (with proper safety training).
